Our mothers were once daughters, and their mothers before them were daughters too. Generations of women have moved through what feels like an endless cycle.
As part of the next generation, I believe this cycle doesn’t have to define us.We don’t have to repeat the same patterns if they don’t align with who we are or who we want to be. We have the choice to step into that cycle or to step out of it entirely. I really hope every mother has the freedom to live her life in a way that feels true to her own heart and desires.
I started with simple stick figures to get the walking motion right. Then, I built on that to bring my characters to life.
